Pronounced fruity aromas are immediately detectable followed by oak, strawberry jam, a touch of chocolate and warmth of spiced ginger.

A quick strike of cracked black pepper fills the mouth and quickly dissipates. A softer red fruit and sweetness oozes onto the palate. Unctuous and rich jam, chocolate and dried fruits follow close behind. A touch of leather, oak and a hint of vanilla meander through.

The warmth remains a long time in the mouth accompanied by the more mature chocolate and leathery tones. A drying spice lingers on.

The faint pink hue imparted by the first fill red wine casks and the scent of fresh red berries meandering out of the glass, inspired Uncharted Whisky Co's choice of name for this special release.

Strawberry Fields is brought to life by a combination of three sister casks of delicious, unpeated spirit from Blair Athol distillery in the Cairngorms national park.

An astounding whisky, best paired with an excellent record and an otherwise chilled out evening.
